Our staff includes academics and professionals with years of experience in their respective fields. They have served as university professors, consultants, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, speech pathologists, occupational therapist, special education teachers, and medical doctors. Their affiliations include: Fordham University, St. John’s University, Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York, Jamaica Hospital, Elmhurst Hospital, and the Psychiatric Division of Mount Sinai Hospital. They have also provided consulting services to: The Department of Education of the City of New York, Catholic Charities, The Brooklyn Bureau of Community Service, St. John’s Hospital, Alcoholics Anonymous, and several state and local government agencies.
Iris Yankelevich
Iris Yankelevich, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a speaker, author, and founder of Y.E.S., Yankelevich Educational Services, is an internationally recognized expert on the parenting skills, and helping immigrants deal with the acculturation process of being a parent in America, including 1st and 2nd generation families. She has provided workshops, presentations, and training on techniques for family relationships, parenting skills, stress, anxiety, and depression management in Latin America, Europe, Middle East, and the United States. She is dedicated to helping people deal with the stress of parenting in the 21st century.
In 1992, Yankelevich established Y.E.S. to develop and deliver psycho-educational programs in the New York City School system for teachers, parents, and children and later in the corporate environment. These programs have now been implemented in more than 450 New York City public schools.
Yankelevich received the VIP Award at the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations for her contributions to benefit the community and other national and international awards.
She developed and coordinated “Project Liberty” in 36 New York Public Schools, a program designed to deal and cope with the effects of the 9/11 event.
She held the position of Adjunct Psychology Professor at the City University of New York, Lehman College, and St. John’s University (1998 to 2005).
Iris Yankelevich is a regular guest on local and national radio and television programs in the Spanish language including Univision Canal 41, the nationally broadcasted Telemundo channel where she had a weekly segment, and on WPAT 93.1 Amor. She is also the author of “Padres de Hoy” (Today’s Parents), instructions for raising children in today’s society.

Mark S. Heller, M.A.
Instructor of the Teamwork and coaching program with a vast experience in recruitment and programs for leadership assessment and development. Mark Heller received his Masters degree in School Psychology from University of South Carolina and his Bachelors in psychology and social science from Fordham University. He has spoken on coaching for the American Management Association, NYSSA, NYU’s MBA Program and several corporate Human Resources forums.
Marc Bassin
Specialized in executive coaching and Team Development. Marc holds a BA from City College and MSW from New York University and EdD from Columbia University’s Teachers College where he was a Ford Fellow.
Marc brings his work experience into group dynamics and personal coaching from years of work in New York City public school system and NYC prisons.
